| Bolt-on forks are often used on large forklift trucks and attachments, e.g. multi-pallet handlers for the beverage industry. |
Holes in the fork shank allow them to be bolted onto the fork carriage. Due to the holes and the resulting notch effect, the load-bearing capacity is lower than that of standard forks of comparable cross-section.
We thus highly recommend that bolt-on forks are designed and calculated by VETTER. The hole pattern is not standardized.
However, the VETTER database already contains a wide range of variants.
